Haringey Borough Swimming Club welcomes you to its website

We are Haringey’s competitive and friendly swimming club, providing quality swimming teaching and coaching. The club offers a pathway for development in swimming from its ‘Learn to swim programme’ to its competitive squads.

You can join our teaching and coaching sessions at Tottenham Green and Park Road Leisure Centres.

Our mission is to develop competitive swimming within Haringey Borough by providing opportunity, through training, for each member to achieve their full potential

The club is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) through the London region.

There was a great turn out on Friday for Duncan Goodhew's visit and lots of HBSC swimmers had the privilege of meeting and being coached by Duncan Goodhew. Forthcoming galas(update 27th August)

Middlesex Development Meet, Southbury Road Pool, Saturday 23rd and 24th October 2010 (update 30th Aug 2010)

Middlesex Autumn Development Meet 2010 is coming up on 23rd and 24th October and we would like to enter a group of swimmers from the club. The swimmers chosen by the coaches are shown on the list Mdx Oct 2010 swimmer listv1The gala is open to swimmers aged 15 or younger. All these swimmers have been sent an e mail by Clare Philpott inviting entries. Work out your sessions and events early, talking to the coaches if you wish and get your entry organised. All entries and payment must  be received by Clare by Friday 17 September at the latest. Contact Clare for any queries or if you have not received the email on claremail@blueyonder.co.uk. Swimmers at the gala need ASA membership at category 2 - those who competed in the Middlesex Spring Development Meet will already have this. Swimmers competing at this level for the first time will need to upgrade from category 1 to category 2 membership before entering the gala: please go to Linda Samworth for a form and to pay the small additional fee.

Arena League: First round will take place on 9th October 2010

This year HBSC will be competing in the National Swimming League. The first draw for the London Division Two is as follows:

Another busy weekend for Haringey swimmers! (updated 24th August 2010)

Our younger swimmers competed in the Edmonton Phoenix Junior Open Sprints on Saturday, and they came away with lots of PBs and medals (despite the heat). A group of our older swimmers competed in the London Region 50m Sprints at Crystal Place on Sunday -they came away with medals and a bit of money!
